Sophomore year my college Dorm was the store
Smoking special spores and selling tree out the drawer
Knew that shit was hot but taking risks was the norm
When you young and tryna prove that you really him

Of course shit was booming with the gas I would get it in
The whole fucking floor had that funk on some collins shit
For months shit was cool I had people just walking in, my stupid ass

A homie there just politicking and rolling fat
Bullshitting bout a party that’s approaching fast

Nervous laugh, stashed my shit fore I let ‘em in/ I thought (Damn)

Opened the door my feet was lead in my socks
Damn it was them cops played it cool but swore I could hear my heart
Niggas came in 5 deep, started searching every spot
They was asking hella questions, I was sweating as I watched
found shake and other shit and started circling like sharks

We was used to moving like two peas in a pod
Who knew fate would have it one of em would start to rot
You had it together at least that was what I thought
So to see you in that condition, it really came as a shock

Y'know the funny part of drugs its the fun you have at the start
The other side of drugs is less funny and more dark
That can of worms get opened and it can be hard to stop
you don't keep it in check it'll slowy tear you apart

I watched you crumble to nothing that summer it broke my heart
You had pressure on your shoulders I could only imagine
We was youngins and you were forced to grow up even faster
and had a family depending on you to go and make it happen

Looking back I've learned not to mistake your struggle for weakness
Even the strongest got a limit - only so long you can stay on defense
Till eventually you go off the deep end
But part of growing up is realizing we all got demons on me
